"…My son was referred to the MindPrime (IdeaChain) program by a school counselor when he was finishing third grade. He was having trouble at school with his concentration and we had tried everything over the first years of public schooling.

He would have trouble at home relating stories, such as telling us what happened at school. It always had to be pulled from him and usually I was the one creating the story for him.

After about the first month of (IdeaChain) lessons he started realizing that I needed specific details from him to be able to understand what he was trying to tell me. Using IdeaChain has helped us with communicating and he knows that what he has to say to me is important and I really am interested in what he is telling me.

We started the program at the first of the summer and since school has started I have really seen an improvement in his grades as well as his attitude.

Last year he was withdrawn and had few friends and didn’t want to be involved in outside activities. This year he is in Boy Scouts, he plays soccer and has friends calling and coming over all the time. I see him, finally, coming out of his shell and it is such a joy for me, as a parent, to watch..."
